It seems that the local "spring cleaning" this year is involving a whole lot of heavy duty building projects, enough that just walking home you can smell the fresh tar on those houses with newly repaved driveways. The giant dirtpiles in the back of the high school have also disappeared after being permanent monuments for 2 or so years. And it seems to be the in thing right now to get new house siding, or build something new in old lots in town.

On another note, when did it get so green?
